Job summary

STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Critical Operations Manager to lead the site’s data center operations in Plano, TX. You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, safety programs, and maintenance processes, while managing budgets and site projects.

The role requires 5–7 years in critical operations, strong vendor management, and ability to work outside regular hours. A focus on incident response and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–7 years in data center or other mission-critical operations.
• 3–5 years in administering maintenance programs.
• 3–5 years in vendor and project management.
• Knowledge of data center systems (UPS, PDU, Chillers, CRAH, CRAC).
• NFPA70e/72/25 and fire life safety knowledge is required.
• Experience with data center monitoring software or CMMS is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement a standardized safety culture across STACK data centers.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, and base building systems.
• Advise on preventative and corrective maintenance programs at site level.
• Manage CapEx and OpEx budgets and forecast spend.
• Develop procedures for maintenance events and emergencies.
