Job summary

STACK Infrastructure US is seeking an Assistant Critical Operations Manager (ACOM) for a Plano, TX data center campus. You will support maintenance of critical electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, and base building systems while driving safety programs and knowledge sharing across teams.

You will mentor staff, manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets, and lead site-level initiatives with vendors. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for success in a fast-paced, high-stress

Qualifications

• Must-have: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in data center or mission-critical operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/ mechanical systems in data centers.
• Familiarity with NFPA70e, NFPA72, NFPA25 fire life safety standards.
• Experience with vendor and project management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement a culture of safety across STACK data centers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems.
• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions in the facility.
• Implement site-level efficiency projects and maintain PUE.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and staff training.
• Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, and billing processes.
• Support site budgeting and forecasting for CapEx and OpEx.
• Develop detailed technical procedures for maintenance and emergencies.
• Perform site audits for internal and external compliance.
