Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems at customer facilities. The role focuses on data centers, healthcare, and commercial environments with direct customer interaction and field-based responsibilities.

Applicants should have 5+ years in HVAC, EPA Universal Certification, and comfortable working with hand tools and mobile devices.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience with commissioning, troubleshooting and repair.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform chiller start-ups and CX commissioning for data center equipment.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact and diagnose/repair equipment on-site.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required; occasional overnight stays.
