Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an experienced HVAC service professional to be the primary on-site contact for customers, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in commercial settings. You will work with facility teams and partners, using your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical School or formal training preferred.
• Typically requires 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, including chillers.
• EPA Certification.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computer devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Represents the company as the direct customer contact and ensures customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment on site.
• Uses tools and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
• Maintains flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Enforces safety standards and tracks company assets on site.
