Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems at customer sites in a defined market. You will perform preventative maintenance, startup, and commissioning, while coordinating with service centers and customers to ensure optimal operation.

You will use your HVAC theory knowledge, hand-held devices, and blueprints to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 5+ years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial or industrial HVAC equipment.
• EPA Certification.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing HVAC equipment (e.g., air cooled chillers, package units, air handlers).
• Represent the company on on-site projects to ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand on-site maintenance requirements and perform inspections and repairs.
• Utilize blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair units while maintaining safety standards.
