Job summary

Trane Supply is hiring a Data Center HVAC Technician to support mission-critical data centers. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up advanced HVAC systems to maximize uptime at customer sites.

The role requires installing and testing chillers, diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues, and coordinating with project teams on site installations and retrofits. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC, EPA certification, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Driver's license valid 12+ months.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Startup chillers in accordance with design submittals and commissioning requirements.
• Troubleshoot chiller performance and operational issues (mechanical and electrical).
• Evacuate chillers and troubleshoot leaks.
• Transfer refrigerant and document activity in a refrigerant report.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on designated equipment.
• Coordinate with service leaders, project managers, and customers to understand site requirements.
• Represent the company and ensure customer satisfaction at the client site.
• Use tools and software per specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
