Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in sustainable climate solutions, is seeking a field-service HVAC technician. You will commission, troubleshoot, and repair systems at customer sites, including data centers and healthcare facilities, using knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

This role requires a High School Diploma, EPA Universal Certification, 5+ years of HVAC experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HVAC field experience including commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Chiller start ups and CX commissioning of Data Center equipment.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to determine on-site requirements.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and diagnose/repair equipment on site.
• Use software and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units following specs.
• Flex to overtime/weekends and occasional overnight stays.
• Enforce safety and manage company assets on site.
