Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Commercial HVAC/Chiller Technician to repair, service, and commission large chillers and DX systems at customer locations in a field-based role. You will apply refrigeration theory, control systems, and piping knowledge while maintaining safety and customer relationships.

Requirements include 5+ years in HVAC/chillers, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver’s license. The role offers on-site work with a $60.00 hourly base pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HVAC/chiller technician with 5+ years of experience in field service.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with a clean record.
• High school diploma or technical school training is required.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair chillers and DX units (50 Ton to 4000 Ton) at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment per schematics and specifications.
• Perform on-site startup, commissioning, and testing of units.
• Maintain safety standards and secure company assets while on-site.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team to meet on-site requirements.
