Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience designing HVAC systems.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team and collaborate with other disciplines remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design HVAC systems for clients including EVs, data centers, and heavy industrial facilities.
• Develop design criteria for HVAC systems including cooling/heating, humidity control, clean room requirements.
• Create conceptual and preliminary designs with sizing calculations and P&ID development.
• Layout ductwork based on P&ID and develop final design documents with specifications, sequences, and piping layouts.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure schedule and technical quality of project deliverables.
