Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Data Center Electrical Engineer in Denver, Colorado to lead electrical design on critical facilities. You will coordinate with clients, PMs, engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver high-quality construction documents and impact-driven solutions.

The role requires mentoring junior staff, managing project timelines, and ensuring code compliance while advancing energy efficiency and reliability for mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Requires PE or equivalent license for location.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design teams for data center/mission-critical projects.
• Coordinate with clients, PMs, architects, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor, organize, and facilitate growth of junior staff.
• Develop feasibility reports, construction documents, specs, and calculations.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of documents and reports.
• Support construction with field observations and RFI responses.
