Job summary

HDR is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer in Denver to design electrical systems for mission-critical data centers. You will lead electrical design from concept through construction, coordinating with clients, PMs, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, scalable power solutions.

This role values mentoring of junior engineers, strong communication, and staying current with NEC standards, UPS, and power distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in electrical design of buildings and data center/mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for data center/mission-critical projects from concept to construction.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, electrical team members, architects, and other disciplines.
• Develop feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications, and conduct design reviews.
