Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Development Project Engineer (Data Center Construction) to support design, preconstruction, and on-site construction activities across projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Vendors daily, ensuring clear communication and aligned progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development leadership and Project Manager with day-to-day activities.
• Support multiple campus projects, maintaining budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Provide monthly updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop campus design solutions and capital budgets.
• Assist with entitlement and permitting needs for each site project.
• Help define scopes of work for design, construction and commissioning; participate in procurement.
