QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Engineer for Data Center Construction to support design, preconstruction and construction on multiple campus projects.

You will collaborate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff to maintain budgets and schedules and assist with master development programs and permitting. Strong MS Office skills and a Engineering/Construction Management background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• One or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices is preferred.
• Experience with Lump Sum, CM@R (Construction Management at Risk) or Design-Build project delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development leadership and Project Manager with day-to-day activities.
• Maintain updated budgets, schedules and status reports for multiple campus projects.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff.
• Help develop the master development program for sites, including budgeting.
• Assist with entitlement, permitting needs and procurement processes.
