Job summary

Aegis seeks a Senior Construction Manager to provide construction management support for our data center practice. 3 to 7 years’ construction experience is required, with a focus on monitoring design, bidding, cost and scheduling events with 100% transparency.

Escalation of risk is the top priority, and decisions involve the client and the A/E team. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of construction experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field is required or waived with 5+ years of vertical construction experience.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to speak up when potential roadblocks are encountered.
• Passion for keeping project details on track.

Responsibilities

• Escalate issues to the client without delay and keep them informed to enable resolution.
• Review General Contractor pay applications for accuracy before client submission.
• Review change order requests for accuracy and completeness with supporting documentation.
• Verify OFCI vendor invoices for correct delivery and functionality prior to payment.
• Daily review of logs, photos, and trackers to monitor issues and progress.
• Meet with the construction manager daily to discuss activities and progress.
• Coordinate RFIs and submittals with architects and engineers and elevate critical items to the client.
