Job summary

The Aegis Companies seek a Senior Construction Manager to provide comprehensive construction management support for a client’s data center practice. 3–7 years of construction experience is required.

You will monitor design, bidding, cost and scheduling, with a focus on transparency and risk escalation. Day-to-day duties include reviewing pay apps, change orders, RFIs, and daily logs, coordinating with A/E teams, and updating the client continuously.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years’ construction experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines.
• Proven track record of speaking up when encountering roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• Escalate issues to the client promptly to keep them informed.
• Review pay applications for accuracy before submission to client.
• Review change orders for accuracy and provide necessary supportive information.
• Maintain daily logs, photos, and trackers to monitor progress and risk.
• Meet daily with the construction manager and facilitate coordination with Architect/Engineer.
• Escalate RFIs and submittals that affect schedule or scope to the client.
• Prepare weekly construction updates.
