Job summary

Aegis seeks a Senior Construction Manager to provide construction management support for our data center practice. 3 to 7 years of construction experience is required. The Sr CM’s main responsibility is to monitor and report on design, bidding, cost and scheduling events with 100% transparency.

Escalation of risk is the #1 priority. Daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and coordination with Architect/Engineer are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years’ construction experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field; waiver possible with 5+ years of direct construction experience.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven willingness to speak up when facing roadblocks.
• Passion for keeping project details on track.

Responsibilities

• Escalate issues to the client to keep them informed.
• Review General Contractor pay applications for accuracy before client submission.
• Review change orders for accuracy and ensure supporting information is provided.
• Review OFCI vendor invoices to confirm correct equipment delivery and condition.
• Daily review of logs, photos, and trackers to monitor issues and progress.
• Meet with the construction manager daily to discuss activities and progress.
• Coordinate videoconference calls with Architect/Engineer to resolve RFIs and review submittals.
• Identify RFIs and submittals needing escalation.
