Aegis Companies is seeking a Construction Manager for our data center practice in Danville, VA. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of construction experience, a strong focus on risk escalation, and the ability to maintain transparency across design, bidding, cost and schedule processes.

Competenze

• 2 to 5 years’ construction experience required.
• Ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak up on roadblocks.

Mansioni

• Escalate issues to the client immediately to keep them informed and avoid surprises.
• Review General Contractor pay applications for accuracy before client submission.
• Review and validate change orders with supporting RFIs; escalate if unresolved after 30 days.
• Daily review of logs, photos, and infrastructure trackers to monitor progress and risk.
• Create daily diary-style logs capturing items, interactions, accomplishments, and issues.
• Conduct weekly safety audits and attach them to the Daily Log.
• Meet daily with the Senior CM to review activities and RFIs with architects and engineers.
