Job summary

Aegis is seeking a Project Manager to support our data center practice. You will monitor design, bidding, cost and scheduling with high transparency, escalating risks as needed. Client and A/E team decisions stay with client.

Ideal for someone with 5+ years construction management, strong organizational skills, and ability to lead cross-functional teams. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or minimum 5 years of construction management experience.
• Ability to provide transparent information flow with escalation.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial construction design, bidding and execution.
• Strong cost management and forecasting skills.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide transparent and unmanaged communications, escalating risks and issues requiring mitigation.
• Collaborate with the Preconstruction, Development and Design Teams prior to mobilization to fully execute the due diligence, design and bidding processes to set each project up for a successful delivery.
• Manage monthly pay applications and lead monthly project financial reviews and reporting.
• Lead engagement and planning with Operations team to ensure successful customer handovers, to include co-leading commissioning and closeout phase.
• Build and maintain synergistic partnerships with our OFCI vendors and General Contractors and manage the coordination of all manufacturing, logistics, storage, deliveries, etc.
• Manage our Construction Managers' execution of our Project Disciplines, to include Daily Logs, Photos, Infrastructure Trackers, Safety Audits and Meeting Notes.
• Manage Contractor Contracts, PO's, and Change Orders.
• Manage weekly and monthly milestone schedule updates, and develop executive project reports.
