Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Shackelford County, TX is seeking a Construction Manager to lead multiple data center projects from preconstruction through turnover to Operations. You will manage a team of engineers, drive scope, schedule, budget, and risk mitigation, and coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and design partners to deliver high-quality facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a project engineer in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity; 7+ years preferred.
• Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and/or MEP construction management is a requirement.
• Data Center experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project delivery across scope, schedule, budget and risk management.
• Oversee preconstruction, due diligence, and buyout activities with contractor selection and scope alignment.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, design teams, trade partners, and Operations to align with design intent and budget.
• Monitor project financials, forecasting, monthly reporting, and EAC tracking with project controls teams.
• Lead contractor billing and pay applications, ensuring accuracy and progress tracking.
• Oversee construction execution, including site walks, safety participation, and progress tracking.
• Ensure compliance with safety, QA/QC, codes, and lease requirements.
