Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking an experienced Automation Construction Manager to lead planning, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of automation and controls systems across mission critical data center projects at on-site locations, including Shackelford County, TX.

You will coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and commissioning teams, manage contractors and vendors, and drive schedules, budgets, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment to ensure reliable, scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and relevant construction/automation experience.
• Experience with BAS/BMS, SCADA, and HVAC controls in mission-critical facilities.
• Proven ability to manage schedule, budget, and contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and controls construction activities across data center projects.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction, startup, commissioning and turnover phases.
• Manage contractor teams, vendors, and integration of BAS/BMS and SCADA systems.
• Develop schedules, critical paths, and commissioning milestones.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation to protect timelines and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, standards, and codes.
