Qualifications

• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• 7+ years of mission critical facilities experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Safety, security, and availability of incident response, incident management, and incident resolution.
• 7+ years' experience managing geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Data Center Managers and 100–150 hourly associates across regional data centers.
• Drive safety, security, availability, scaling, and efficiency in operations.
• Supervise according to the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Accountability for meeting and exceeding operational goals.
• Strategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; resolve problems; staffing needs.
• Mentor and train team members, fostering technical and soft-skill development.
• Develop, improve, and share operational best practices globally.
• Hire, manage, and develop the operations management team including data center managers and data center operations technicians.
• Plan and execute Infrastructure Operations for new AWS data center buildouts and expansions.
• Balance insourcing/outsourcing to optimize internal skills and costs.
• Continuously improve operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools.
