Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Project Manager in the Land Development Division to support our Data Center group. This role can sit in any Virginia or North Carolina office locations.

The candidate will manage land development civil projects, coordinate with clients, and oversee design and construction phases. Requirements include eight years of total experience with at least four as PM, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and ability to travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of total experience with four years as a Project Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (others may be substituted at management’s discretion)

Responsibilities

• Manage Land Development Data Center civil engineering projects to meet schedules and budgets
• Consult with clients to determine project requirements
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests and topographical data for site development planning
• Visit project sites to assess existing conditions
• Calculate costs and assess feasibility of projects
• Prepare or direct reports, designs, specifications, plans and construction administration
• Conduct periodic on-site observations to monitor progress and ensure conformance to plans and specs
• Prepare calculations, construction documents and inspection reports using discipline-specific software
• Support and communicate with team through all design, production, approval and construction stages
