Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in the Land Development Division to support our Data Center group in the Virginia area.

You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and project teams to develop site designs and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. The role involves site visits, data analysis, preparation of reports, design calculations and construction documents, and ongoing construction administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of total experience in Commercial Land Development.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and other Westwood offices nationwide.
• Strong reading and writing skills; able to prepare design reports.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of industry codes.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine project requirements.
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and data to plan and design projects.
• Visit project sites to assess existing conditions and feasibility.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, and construction documents; support construction administration.
• Coordinate with team members through all design and construction stages.
