Job summary

S&P Global Inc. seeks a senior data architect to own the centralised data platform powering all commission calculations and sales performance reporting.

You will lead a team of data and compensation analysts, ensure data integrity, and partner with BI to deliver trusted inputs for analytics across the division. The role requires 10+ years in sales compensation, data architecture, and governance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership position, and hands-on experience in ETL, SQL, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales compensation, data architecture, data governance, or financial systems; includes 2+ years in a people leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern a centralised, SOX-compliant data platform for commission calculations and sales performance reporting.
• Serve as the first point of contact for sales leadership on data-related matters and resolve anomalies before impact.
• Lead and develop a team of data and compensation analysts and drive continuous improvement.
• Translate complex commercial contracts into structured data frameworks for workflows.
• Partner with BI and Systems Analytics to shape Data Warehouse architecture and ETL workflows.
• Communicate real-time analytics and data-quality metrics to senior leadership.
