Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence seeks a Finance Associate Director, Sales Compensation to lead data architecture, governance, and the centralized source of truth for commissions and reporting.

You will partner with Sales Operations, Finance, and Tech to design scalable data structures, oversee large datasets, and ensure audits are clean and compliant, enabling trusted leadership insights.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in sales compensation, data architecture, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with database building, data warehousing, ETL, and SQL.
• Experience with Power BI for executive reporting.
• Ability to translate contracts into data structures and ensure SOX-compliant controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead data platform lifecycle for large, complex datasets to support commissions and sales reporting.
• Design automated reconciliation and standardized adjustment processes for data integrity.
• Mentor and develop a team of data and compensation analysts.
• Partner with BI and Systems Analytics to shape data warehouse architecture and ETL workflows.
• Ensure SOX-compliant audit trails and validated data inputs.
• Translate commercial contracts into reusable data constructs.
