Job summary

S&P Global is seeking an Associate Director, Finance – Sales Compensation (Data Architecture & Strategy) in Hartford to lead the data architecture, governance, and analytics powering sales compensation decisions. You will own a centralized data platform, ensure data integrity, and partner with Finance, Sales Ops, and Tech to drive accurate commission calculations and trusted insights.

You will manage a team of data and compensation analysts, translate complex contracts into repeatable data

Qualifications

Experience in sales compensation, data governance, or financial systems.
Hands-on in large-scale data architecture, ETL pipelines, and SQL querying.
Experience building real-time BI reports and presenting data to leadership.

Responsibilities

Architect and govern a centralised, SOX-compliant data platform that serves as the single source of truth for commission calculations and reporting.
Lead data integrity by detecting anomalies and implementing automated reconciliation and standardised adjustment workflows.
Lead and develop a team of data and compensation analysts; translate contracts into clean data frameworks for workflows.
Translate complex contracts into structured data frameworks that integrate into operational and reporting systems.
Shape Data Warehouse architecture and ETL workflows with BI and Systems Analytics teams.
Communicate real-time sales performance analytics and data-quality metrics to senior leadership and drive adoption of correct processes.
