Job summary

S&P Global is seeking an Associate Director of Finance – Sales Compensation to own data architecture for commission calculations and reporting. You will lead a team of analysts and partner with Finance, Sales Ops, and Technology to ensure accurate, auditable data foundations across the organization.

You will drive reconciliation, data quality, and scalable data workflows, delivering insights to senior leaders and enabling informed commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales compensation, data architecture, data governance, or financial systems.
• 2+ years in people leadership managing analytical teams.
• Experience establishing SOX-compliant data governance and audit trails.
• Experience building real-time Power BI reports for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with large-scale ETL and data quality across complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern a centralised, SOX-compliant data platform for commission calculations and reporting.
• Lead data reconciliation, anomaly detection and automated adjustments at scale.
• Lead and develop data and compensation analysts; set goals and resources.
• Translate contracts into structured data frameworks integrated into workflows.
• Collaborate with BI and analytics to shape data warehouse architecture and ETL flows.
• Present real-time analytics and data-quality metrics to senior leadership.
