S&P Global is seeking an Associate Director of Finance – Sales Compensation to lead data architecture and strategy for commission calculations. You will own centralized data governance, oversee ETL and reconciliation pipelines, and partner with Finance, Sales Ops, and Technology to drive trusted insights.

You will mentor a team, translate complex contracts into data-ready formats, and present metrics to senior leaders while ensuring data integrity and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years in sales compensation, data architecture, data governance, or financial systems, including 2+ years in people leadership.
• Database, Automation and Optimization: Hands-on in large-scale database design, schema development, ETL, SQL, automation, and performance optimization.
• Reconciliation and Adjustments: Proficient in scripting/automation tools (Python/Pandas, VBA, Alteryx) for reconciliation pipelines.
• Governance and Compliance: SOX-compliant data governance, audit trails, validation models, standardized adjustment protocols.
• Real-Time Reporting: Build/configure real-time Power BI reports and present data-quality metrics to senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Architect and govern a centralised, SOX-compliant data platform serving as the single source of truth for commission calculations and reporting.
• Be the first point of contact for sales leadership on data-related matters, detect anomalies, and implement automated reconciliation.
• Lead and develop a team of data and compensation analysts; set goals and allocate resources.
• Translate complex contracts into structured data frameworks for integration into workflows.
• Collaborate with BI and Systems Analytics to shape Data Warehouse architecture and ETL workflows.
• Communicate real-time analytics to senior leadership and drive adoption of correct data processes.
