Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer IV to lead Data & Analytics Platform work across multiple offices. You will design and deliver scalable Snowflake-based frameworks, implement data governance, and guide junior engineers while improving data product velocity.

The role blends hands-on development with technical leadership in a health data environment. You will work across Snowflake, dbt, Python, Airflow, REST APIs, and containerized environments to build scalable data platforms for

Qualifications

Experience with Snowflake platform frameworks using Python and Snowflake SQL stored procedures.
Experience building data and analytics platform solutions on Snowflake to improve data engineering velocity.
Strong SQL skills, dbt, ELT/ETL design patterns, and data pipeline optimization.
Experience CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI.
REST API development and Snowpark Container Services experience.
Familiarity with Airflow, Snowflake Tasks, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

Own delivery of technical projects and mentor junior Data Engineers.
Architect, build, tune, and automate scalable Snowflake-based frameworks for data teams.
Collaborate with Data Modeling to design scalable models and warehouse layers.
Optimize Snowflake performance, queries, compute sizing, and workload isolation.
Partner with analytics, product, data engineering, and business teams to deliver platform solutions.
Ensure code quality, testing, documentation, and observability.
