Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead platform initiatives across Snowflake, Python, SQL, and ELT tooling. You will design reusable data frameworks, drive orchestration with Airflow, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with enterprise analytics needs.

Hybrid role across multiple offices including Salt Lake City and nearby locations, with a focus on scalable, secure data platforms and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of data platform engineering or data engineering; senior/lead experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, math, business, or related field.
• Experience in health care or complex enterprise data environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of technical projects and mentor junior Data Engineers.
• Architect and tune scalable Snowflake-based frameworks for data teams.
• Partner with Data Modeling to design scalable models and warehouse layers.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, including query tuning and sizing.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, data engineering, and business teams.
• Ensure quality, documentation, and platform observability.
