Job summary

Databricks Inc. seeks an experienced Retail and CPG Sr. Solutions Architect to partner with the Account Executive and drive the technical strategy for our largest accounts.

You will lead the technical voice, guide adoption of the Databricks Data + AI Platform, and work with hands-on teams to build PoCs and demonstrate value. The role requires 8+ years in data/tech with 4+ years in pre-sales, plus production Python/Java/Scala experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in large Retail/CPG with ARR > $1m.
• 4+ years in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales.
• Technical in big data, data science, and cloud.
• Experience driving data-driven business transformation.
• 4+ years with design/implementation in big data tech (Hadoop/NoSQL/MPP/OLTP/OLAP).
• Production programming in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
• Databricks Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the main technical voice for 1-5 clients.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey adopting Databricks.
• Implement technical strategy within the account.
• Build a movement of technical champions inside the account.
• Align technical strategies with Databricks solutions.
• Provide structured mentorship to team members.
