Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Trainer to guide the design, development, and delivery of cybersecurity training across TN22 workforce. You will serve as a senior instructor, aligning content to DoD 8140 and workforce frameworks while coordinating with government and contractor stakeholders.

You will lead instructional design, assessments, and readiness activities, ensuring timely, relevant, and mission-aligned training to support operational readiness across distributed sites.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance; ability to maintain clearance eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience (additional years may substitute for a degree).
• Experience delivering cybersecurity, IT, network ops, or operational training in large/geographically distributed orgs.
• Experience developing and maintaining training content, lesson plans, and learner assessments.
• Knowledge of DoD cyber workforce concepts, including DoD 8140 and DoD Cyber Workforce Framework roles.
• Ability to assess training effectiveness and identify gaps.
• Strong coordination with Government, contractor, technical, and operations stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity training for TN22 workforce.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, hands-on, and scenario-based training.
• Develop and maintain training materials, lesson plans, guides, exercises, and assessments.
• Coordinate training plans to DoD framework work roles and contractual requirements.
• Identify training gaps and recommend actions to leadership.
• Manage scheduling, facilities, platforms, and resources across sites.
• Capture lessons learned and update content accordingly.
• Provide mentorship to junior trainers and coordinators.
• Brief leadership on training execution and readiness risks.
