Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Trainer to oversee the design, delivery, and assessment of cybersecurity training for the TN22 workforce supporting DISA GSM-O II. You will act as a senior instructor and SME, ensuring timely, mission-aligned training across distributed sites.

You will develop instructional materials, deliver instructor-led and scenario-based sessions, assess outcomes, and coordinate with Government stakeholders to align with DoD 8140 and workforce standards.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance; must maintain clearance eligibility.
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Experience delivering cybersecurity/IT/operational training in a large or distributed organization.
Experience developing training content, lesson plans, exercises, and learner assessments.
Working knowledge of DoD cyber workforce concepts including DoD 8140.
Experience assessing training effectiveness and identifying gaps.
Ability to coordinate with Government, contractor, technical, and operational stakeholders.
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity training for the TN22 workforce.
Deliver instructor-led, virtual, hands-on, and scenario-based training for cyber defense and CSSP missions.
Develop and maintain training materials, lesson plans, guides, student manuals, exercises, assessments, and records.
Coordinate training plans to DoD cyber workforce framework requirements and contractual needs.
Collaborate with leads to ensure content reflects current ops tools and priorities.
Assess learner performance and training effectiveness through checks and readiness assessments.
Identify training gaps and propose remediation or development actions to leadership.
Plan and evaluate collective events, exercises, and readiness activities.
Capture lessons learned and update content accordingly.
Coordinate schedules, facilities, platforms, and resources across sites.
Maintain training documentation and qualification records.
Contribute to readiness metrics, dashboards, and reports.
Provide mentorship to junior trainers and coordinators.
Brief leadership on training execution, risks, and corrective actions.
