Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Trainer to lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced cybersecurity training for a geographically distributed TN22 workforce. You will ensure material reflects current cyber defense concepts, coordinate with DoD stakeholders, and drive readiness across multiple sites and shifts.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a strong instructional design background, and proven ability to deliver instructor-led and scenario-based training.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required with ability to maintain clearance eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, education, instructional design, or related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity, information technology, or operational training in a large or geographically distributed organization.
• Experience developing and maintaining training content, lesson plans, practical exercises, and learner assessments.
• Working knowledge of DoD cyber workforce concepts, including DoD 8140 and DoD Cyber Workforce Framework work roles.
• Experience assessing training effectiveness and identifying gaps in workforce training or capability.
• Ability to coordinate with Government, contractor, technical, and operational stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity training for the TN22 workforce.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, hands-on, and scenario-based training.
• Develop and maintain training materials, lesson plans, guides, exercises, assessments, and records.
• Coordinate training plans with DoD requirements and mission needs.
• Ensure content reflects current tools, procedures, threats, and priorities.
• Assess learner performance and readiness through checks and exercises.
• Identify training gaps and recommend actions to leadership.
• Coordinate training schedules, facilities, platforms, and resources across sites.
• Document training artifacts and readiness metrics for reporting.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior trainers and coordinators.
• Brief leadership on training execution, performance, risks, and corrective actions.
