Job summary

Center for Internet Security, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to support SLTT and Education customers across the CIS portfolio, including MDR, MXDR, MDBR, and CIS Hardened Images.

You will work with Sales Solutions Engineering to drive opportunities from discovery through onboarding and renewal. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity pre-/post-sales, strong cloud and networking knowledge, and a customer-first communication style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline required.
• 5+ years in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical account management in cybersecurity.
• Deep knowledge of managed security services: MDR, EDR/XDR/MXDR, NDR/IDS, DNS security.
• Strong network fundamentals and cloud platform knowledge; experience with hardened images.
• Understanding of U.S. SLTT government environments and public-sector sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical SME across CIS portfolio (MDR, MXDR, MDBR, CIS SecureSuite, networking, cloud security).
• Provide hybrid pre-sales and post-sales engineering support (discovery, solution design, demos, POCs, onboarding, deployment guidance).
• Own onboarding experience for assigned accounts, accelerating value and protecting revenue.
• Partner with CIS Services AEs during government sales cycle including procurement and security reviews.
• Lead and mentor solutions engineers; develop enablement content and best-practice documentation.
• Represent CIS in conferences and product meetings; synthesize customer feedback for Product Management.
