Job summary

MGT is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer in Livermore, CA. You will lead pre-sales activities, deliver on-site or virtual demonstrations, and guide customers through architectures that meet their security needs.

This role requires deep security framework knowledge and strong collaboration with sales teams to win opportunities. Five+ years in technology, 2+ years in pre-sales, and hands-on experience with NIST, CIS controls, and major vendors are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience in an applicable technology field.
• Two (2) or more years of pre-sales engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales presentations and equipment demonstrations on-site or virtually; collaborate with sales to nurture customer relationships and develop proposals.
• Attend on-site customer meetings, provide technical guidance, and ensure alignment between client needs and proposed architectures.
• Provide Architect Level oversight on large, complex projects, ensuring best practices in design and implementation.
• Deliver architect-level technical support during project startup and post-implementation.
• Identify and promote opportunities for MSP solutions including Monitoring, EMS, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP.
