Job summary

Connection Services is seeking a Sr. Inside Solutions Architect – Security for a fully remote role. You will lead security solution design, engage with executives, and translate complex security challenges into business outcomes.

A strong consultative skill set and 7+ years in cybersecurity are required. The role partners with sales and engineering teams to drive cybersecurity opportunities, deliver demonstrations, and support RFIs/RFPs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, solutions architecture, or technical pre-sales.
• Experience designing and positioning enterprise security solutions within complex environments.
• Strong consultative selling and pre-sales experience, including discovery, solution mapping, and value articulation.
• Experience engaging with CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors, and Security Leaders.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong documentation, architecture diagramming, and proposal development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers and Sales Teams to identify, qualify, and develop cybersecurity solution opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer drivers, security challenges, and architectural needs.
• Design and present comprehensive security architectures aligned with objectives, risk tolerance, and budget.
• Deliver executive-level presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Translate technical concepts into business outcomes such as risk reduction and cyber resilience.
• Develop proposals, statements of work, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, security assessments, and technical evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering, professional services, vendor partners, and product specialists.
• Maintain expertise in emerging security technologies and industry best practices.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to internal teams.
• Support strategic engagements from discovery to delivery.
