Job summary

MGT is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer in Atlanta, GA. Lead pre-sales activities, deliver on-site or virtual demonstrations, and work with sales to craft tailored security architectures for government clients.

You will provide architect-level guidance across projects, support post-sale transitions, and position MSP solutions like SIEM/SOAR, EDR/MDR, and secure network architectures. Five+ years in tech and two+ years in pre-sales are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience in an applicable technology field.
• Two (2) or more years of pre-sales engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement large-scale solutions including budgetary and detailed cost estimating.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate customer requirements into bill of materials (BOM) and system design.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales: Lead impactful customer presentations and equipment demonstrations on-site or virtually; work closely with sales to develop and nurture customer relationships while executing both strategic and tactical objectives; actively contribute to proposal creation and tailored solution presentations.
• On-Site Engagement: Attend on-site customer meetings as required, providing technical expertise, solution guidance, and ensuring alignment between client needs and proposed architectures.
• Architectural Oversight: Provide Architect Level oversight on large, complex projects, ensuring best practices in design, implementation, and integration, while maintaining technical leadership throughout all phases of project delivery.
• Post-Sales: Deliver architect-level technical support during project startup and, when necessary, after implementation, guaranteeing a seamless transition and ongoing client satisfaction.
• Technical: Identify, position, and promote opportunities for MGT’s MSP solutions, including Monitoring, Element Management, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP.
