Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across on-prem and cloud environments. You will lead strategy, governance, and cross‑functional collaboration to protect data and continuity of operations.

The role requires deep knowledge of risk management, regulatory compliance, and hands‑on security engineering, with a focus on proactive threat mitigation and incident response leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or related field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership or architect experience.
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Experience with firewalls, endpoint protection, encryption solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments (network, cloud, IAM, data protection) with compliance.
• Oversee security tool integration (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management).
• Develop incident response plans and lead incident response efforts.
