Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will lead risk assessments, governance, and incident response while aligning security with business goals.

Applicants should bring 10+ years in cybersecurity, strong governance experience, and deep knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS) and enterprise security.
• Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection, and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, and data protection.
• Oversee security tool integration (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management).
• Develop incident response plans and manage security incidents across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business units to ensure regulatory alignment.
