Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture across on-prem and cloud environments. You will lead security strategy, governance, and incident response while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience, deep knowledge of security controls, and ability to collaborate with IT, legal, and operations teams to protect critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in a security-focused discipline.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, data, and endpoint security.
• Oversee vulnerability management, incident response, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Provide cybersecurity leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.
