Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture. You will lead strategic initiatives, ensure compliance with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and other standards, and collaborate across teams to protect critical systems.

The role demands senior-level expertise in cloud and on-prem security, risk assessment, and incident response, with a focus on defense-in-depth and governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments, cloud, and data protection.
• Oversee security controls for on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments of technologies and applications.
• Develop and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework.
• Lead incident response and coordinate with legal/compliance.
