Job summary

Coalition is seeking a Senior Cyber Underwriter to own profitable growth across an assigned broker portfolio, underwriting Cyber and Technology PI risks within delegated authority. This remote‑first role requires collaboration with Sales and Product to drive production and profitability targets.

The position is hybrid with the expectation to work from the London office 2–3 days a week for business and broker engagement. 5+ years of underwriting in cyber/security is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multiline underwriting experience focused on Cyber, Technology PI, or related security risks.
• Strong cyber risk analysis, underwriting, coverage, compliance, product, and pricing capabilities.
• Ability to manage a broker pipeline, territory, and portfolio while meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Cyber and Technology PI risks within delegated authority and Coalition guidelines.
• Build and manage strategic broker relationships while generating, qualifying, and progressing new business opportunities.
• Partner with Sales and Product to execute territory strategies and achieve production and profitability targets.
• Apply knowledge of the UK cyber insurance market to identify opportunities and capture profitable market share.
• Educate brokers and customers on cyber exposures, coverage solutions, and risk improvement.
• Manage broker relationships, placement timelines, policy workflows, and stakeholder commitments with consistent execution.
