Job summary

Coalition is seeking a dynamic Underwriter to own profitable business from brokers and partner closely with our Sales organization. The Underwriter will underwrite Coalition’s Cyber and Technology PI solutions with a customer-centric approach, educating brokers and customers on risk mitigation.

This is a remote opportunity that can be based anywhere in the UK, with travel for broker visits and internal gatherings as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-line underwriting experience in Cyber/Technology PI
• Ability to work independently within current underwriting authority
• ACII or similar designation preferred
• Strong sales, communication and marketing skills with broker relationships
• Proficient in risk analysis for technology cyber insurance
• Knowledge of policy issuance, pricing strategies and coverage
• Proven ability to achieve production goals
• Negotiation and relationship-building skills with creative problem solving

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Coalition’s Cyber and Technology PI solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales to execute strategies and manage broker relationships.
• Identify new customers through pipeline and territory analysis.
• Understand local cyber insurance marketplace and Coalition capabilities.
• Develop recommendations to capture market share in assigned geography.
• Travel for onsite broker events and internal gatherings.
• Deliver profitable growth within underwriting guidelines.
