Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Senior Account Representative–Customs Brokerage in Philadelphia, PA. The role acts as the primary customer liaison, coordinating carrier selection, documentation, invoicing, and data accuracy in systems like IRIS and Cargowise.

You will work with overseas agents and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely shipments. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in customs brokerage, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ERP/TMS/WMS tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in customs brokerage, import/export of goods
• Familiarity with ERP systems, TMS, WMS and other logistics software
• Proficiency in AS400 and Cargowise
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer service liaison between GEODIS and the customer
• Select carriers and routing based on shipment characteristics or customer requirements
• Process all documents and information requests
• Enter notes and documents in Cargowise
• Coordinate shipping details with overseas agents
• Prepare and review invoicing and rates within required timeframes
• Ensure shipment data accuracy in IRIS and related systems
• Arrange bookings with airlines, ocean carriers, and trucking companies
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and vendors
• Support tracking, tracing, and issue resolution
