Job summary

Bayer is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Leader to oversee Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash for Hematology and Specialty Pharma in the US. You will manage daily processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliant, efficient supply chain operations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Currently deployed in a multi-disciplinary customer solutions role in the Bayer Pharma Division.
• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s with equivalent experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience in regulated pharma environments and with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner-managed, 3PL-supported, or contract-controlled supply models.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations.
• Ability to translate regulatory, data and system requirements into operational actions, testing and readiness.
• Strong cross-functional coordination, communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support; act as escalation point for issues with Accenture third-party ops.
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models; advise on contracts, controls and audits.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to tailor solutions; strengthen relationships with account managers, sales, finance and marketing.
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments across master data, SAP, serialization, pricing, contracting and government programs.
• Align requirements and controls with IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Legal and external partners.
• Lead integrated cluster plans, manage risks, readiness metrics and escalation paths to PMO/leadership.
• Stay aligned with industry discussions on NDC-12 and evolving external expectations.
