Job summary

dbt Labs in Austin is seeking a Customer Solutions Architect to help current customers maximize value from dbt Cloud deployments through live demos and technical workshops.

You will monitor an existing book of business, lead discussions with customers, and showcase how dbt Cloud can address their data challenges, driving renewal and expansion. The role is based in Austin with in-office presence two days per week in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a post-sales role or technical account management.
• Strong understanding of modern data warehousing architectures and SQL.
• Comfort presenting to diverse stakeholders, including external audiences.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and think on your feet.
• Team-oriented with collaboration across Sales Directors and Solutions Architects.
• Willingness to travel for external and internal events.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Commercial or Enterprise customers and monitor health, adoption, and utilization to spot expansion opportunities and churn risks.
• Strengthen customer loyalty by building relationships with technical stakeholders and understanding analytics needs.
• Educate customers on new dbt Cloud products and features and drive adoption.
• Collaborate with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects on renewals and lifecycle strategy.
• Represent the voice of the customer in product discussions and help improve cross-functional processes.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing by documenting best practices and creating playbooks.
• Create and deliver external-facing content through live events, blog posts, tutorials, or other formats.
