Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent required.
• Reliability, organization and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Strong computer skills and basic product knowledge are needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and process orders.
• Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, or counter sales.
• Negotiate sale and purchase prices within parameters to influence gross profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
• Expedite backorders and pull inventory for shipment; handle returns when needed.
