Xcel Energy in the United States is seeking a Sr. Business Functional Consultant, Transformation (Customer Data Sr. Analyst) to drive analytics for the CIS transformation.

You will validate data products, define KPIs, and assess impacts across Customer and Billing domains. This role collaborates with the Customer Data Product Owner to ensure trusted data and readiness for adoption. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or equivalent combination of training and relevant experience.
• 5+ years in operations, business process improvement or service delivery.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience validating reports or data during a system conversion (preferred).
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced analysis of customer, billing, finance and usage data across multiple processes.
• Lead analysis to support report rationalization and KPI/disposition decisions.
• Define and validate KPIs and metric logic with business owners.
• Validate rebuilt reports and data products against governance definitions before acceptance.
• Co-Lead business functional testing of reports during integrated test cycles.
• Collaborate across Customer areas to answer ad hoc analytical questions.
• Champion data quality improvements and partner with data stewards.
