Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Sr Customer Architect to act as a trusted technical advisor, crafting Technical Success Plans tailored to customer goals and metrics. You will drive successful adoption of Elastic solutions, align technical objectives with business outcomes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow ARR through expanded usage and value.

You will lead technical discussions, define success criteria, and ensure customers achieve desired outcomes while fostering ongoing relationships

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Validated experience in a similar role (Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Pre-sales Engineer) with hands-on Elastic solutions.
Experience with Elastic solutions (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or Elastic stack and aligning them with business goals is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong social skills and ability to build relationships with customers and teams.
Demonstrated problem-solving with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
Ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Ensure customers derive significant value, reduce technical frictions, and promote uptake of Elastic solutions to grow ARR.
Collaborate with Account Exec and Solutions Architect for ongoing technical coverage while pursuing new deals.
Define the technical success plan for each customer to achieve business objectives.
Manage the customer journey from onboarding to adoption, driving ongoing consumption of Elastic solutions.
Articulate the value proposition of Elastic solutions and align with customer goals.
Identify and remove technical frictions to smooth adoption and implementation.
Coordinate with support to ensure optimized resolution and adoption curve.
Work with Service Team to deliver personalized, frictionless solutions.
Translate customer needs into technical requirements for Elastic solutions.
Find opportunities for expansion for ARR growth, with account teams taking over when ready.
Foster ongoing customer relationships to increase utilization and ARR.
